A Letter for Jimmy Dickens
Here is something I saw on my home page yesterday posted by the Grand Ole Opry.
You know you're a star when a card addressed this way makes it to your mailbox at the Opry! We love ya, Little Jimmy Dickens and hope to have you back on stage soon.
I love those envelopes from 'the old days' when people were addressed simply as J Edwards, Liverpool or whatever. The last I knew of those was a cousin who was simply addressed at his town (which had been a village when he was young) with no other address and it always got to him.
